We make the world machine-readable by creating the "Mirror World". The Mirror World is the combination of 3D geometry, colored texture, materials, weather data, traffic information, IoT data and much more. The 4th industrial revolution is about connecting the physical and digital worlds. For this to happen, software needs to understand the world we live in and hence needs a machine readable world. In our view, the same Mirror World will be used by a variety of industries - robotics (for simulation), entertainment (for experiences and games), Smart Cities and Urban planning and many more. Our goal is to make the Mirror World accessible to developers in order to build what we refer to as "Mirror World Applications" - any application or experience that uses the Mirror World data.

We are reorganizing our IT department and are looking for new colleagues who likes to work pro-active in an international team of various engineering disciplines.

**About the role**

We are looking for an ICT System Engineer/Administrator with the main focus on Hardware (data storage), Software and Applications (communication & collaborative software tools). You will also take care of our IT and server infrastructure, databases, backups, and upgrade systems. 

Together with the IT team, you will scale our IT infrastructure and keep it running. This also includes relevant client infrastructure services that allow our employees to get on with their jobs. 



## Tasks

•Planning, evaluation, migration, implementation, configuration, testing and monitoring relevant systems

•Full IT support (troubleshooting, maintaining and administration of relevant IT infrastructure e.g. workstations, server, applications, subscriptions and credentials)

•Establish system performance and security

•Dealing with data backup and disaster recovery

•Ensure appropriate processes and its documentation 

•Managing IT (Hardware/Software) Lifecycles

•Investigate new requirements

•Coaching users



## Requirements

You act as an experienced ICT System Engineer/Administrator.

We are using various OS (Linux, Windows, Mac) and virtual Systems and we expect good knowledge on an admin level (e.g. Document management tools, Confluence/Jira, Server admin/SQL server admin, storage setup and scripting). 

Your social and effective communication skills and your team orientation allows you to meet the expectations of our business and colleagues. You are a solution-oriented, organized conceptional thinker and planer and used to work within the concept of projects.

We are an English-speaking company, therefore suitable spoken and written English skills are required.
